How does the process of booking your services work?
Couples contact Eclectic Luxuries via the online enquiry form on our website, outlining the key details of their day and sharing their initial inspiration. Once availability is confirmed, Gabby arranges an in-depth design and flavour consultation, with the option of a scheduled phone call for couples who prefer to talk through their ideas in real time. Together they shape the creative direction for the wedding cake and any accompanying dessert table, and decide how these elements will sit within the overall look of the celebration.
Following the consultation, Gabby prepares a tailored proposal that presents the design concept, suggested layered flavour compositions and clear, refined pricing. When the couple confirm their booking, the date is secured in the studio diary. In the weeks leading up to the wedding they may choose a final planning call to review timings and presentation, while Gabby liaises directly with the venue and key suppliers so that the cake and any dessert elements are delivered and presented exactly as planned on the day.
When should clients book your services?
Eclectic Luxuries recommends securing a date at least six months in advance. For peak-season Saturdays and more elaborate couture designs, a lead time of nine to twelve months is strongly recommended. Gabby intentionally limits the number of wedding commissions she accepts each season, prioritising thoughtful design and impeccable execution over volume, with a full appreciation of how important this day is for each couple. Her diary is currently open for dates through 2028.
Where are you based and which areas do you cover?
Eclectic Luxuries is based in Glenrothes, Fife. Wedding cakes and dessert tables are most frequently delivered across Fife, Dundee & Angus, St Andrews, Perth, Edinburgh & the Lothians, Greater Glasgow, Perthshire, the Scottish Borders, Lanarkshire, Loch Lomond & The Trossachs, and Stirling, Falkirk & Clackmannanshire. Enquiries from other areas are considered individually, depending on date and distance.
I live outside your usual delivery area. Can I still book you?
Enquiries from outside Gabby’s core areas are welcomed and considered individually. Acceptance depends on date, distance and schedule, and additional delivery fees may apply to reflect extended travel time and specialist transport.
Can I collect my cake or desserts myself?
At present, Eclectic Luxuries operates on a delivery-only basis to protect the quality, stability and presentation of each cake and dessert, in line with the studio’s service standards.
Do you offer custom designs? What is the process?
Eclectic Luxuries offers fully custom-designed cakes and dessert tables, with each commission developed around the couple’s venue, styling and flavour preferences rather than a fixed menu. The process begins with an enquiry submitted via the online form on the Eclectic Luxuries website to check availability, followed by a detailed design and flavour consultation, after which couples receive a refined proposal with suggested designs and pricing.
